| The kids aren't so much attentive to the politics as they are to the candy. This year, we were at the end of the route, and I tell you what, that is the place to be: candy gets DUMPED at the end. Oh, yeah. |

| The City of Roses float upped Hillsboro's credibility rating as far as legit July 4th Parades go (at least in my book). |
