This year was our "practice" trip to the State Fair. It was so fun, and we appropriated so much free stuff, that we're thinking the Fair will become an annual tradition. We missed the "Balance the Potato on Your Head" contest. But we did see all manner of farm animals, including a goataroo: a strange, new mix of goat and one certain marsupial:
