When I said Briton beat me at Scrabble the other night, we had not yet played this game. This game made the prior one seem like a friendly spar. "Arrestee" and "Ungentle" are both his plays. "
Ungentle" was particularly so, since he not only played over both Triple Word Scores, but it was also a bingo. I set him up with my "ruin",
to my ruin ...and utter annihilation. His final score? 465. Qoph.

so . . . whose word was "ef"?
Wow, amazing! Playing Scrabble with you two would be an education. There are at least 7 words on that board that I didn't know were words! Can you "un" just about anything? Do you allow French...or maybe poi can be plural? Great job on a great game. Glad to know you're still playing.
There's the vache qui rit and then there's the frite qui triche. Seriously though, he's no tricheur--no need to triche when you've got the scrabble vocab comme on peut pas croire.
I'm loving the dictionary of plants and flowers next to the game board. When the regular dictionary fails, I also always turn to that one for support.
You can keep him, that's what I say. Though several years have gone by now without a game of 5X5 Boggle where everyone's COMBINED scores ALMOST totalled Briton's, it still hurts. Abram and I are fairly well matched, but we've got to score a 5X5. I have too short of an attention span for Scrabble. Kudos for being willing to play with him!! ;) ;)
We use to play Scrabble all the time- Aaron always won- but we need to find time to play again- my vocab. needs some work these days and so does my spellin'
