Very healthy, just needs a name. Robin is not pregnant anymore and is recovering from that.

Nesting

We've been preparing like crazy for the baby: yardwork (hello, daffodils and tulips and budding fruit trees!), refinishing the dining room table; painting, sewing, organizing/decorating for the Girls' Room, creating a craft corner since The Girls' Room took over the Junk Room, looking for a van, stocking up on supplies because I plan on never leaving the house ever, ever, ever again; making freezer meals and menu plans and lots of bibs (41 cents a bib, yessir), trying to find the Right Name for Her, eating lots of ice cream and Girl Scout Cookies, crashing by 9 p.m. most nights (not because of especially busy days but because I'm especially LARGE). All of this occurs, at least for me, at a reduced pace as the contractions kick in with any slight large muscle motor movement (except for the ones required to remove a GSC from the box and carry it to my mouth). Run an errand? Nope. These days it's, Waddle an errand. Something drop on the ground? See ya later.

I'm surrounded by extremely supportive and understanding folks. My awesome sister is paying a housecleaner to come today to deep clean (she'd scrub the pink bacterial flora from the shower floor herself, I know, but she's far away). Friends have been watching T&S for me. Our dinner group has saved my bacon and my family's nutritional status on several nights in the past weeks. I sure appreciate all the understanding - because I, myself, forgot what these last couple of weeks of pregnancy were like. BFF totally understands and is okay with cutting short our weekly walk and discretely obliges my necessary pit-stops in the public park. My parents are coming for almost three weeks to help out and Autumn and Leslie are taking time off work for a week to help out after they leave. Then, Briton. He's been incredibly supportive and has picked up all my slack at home. In fact, I would like to propose that the coolest thing a husband can say to his wife at "T minus 14 days" is, in all sincerity, "It's all about you."

The plan is a C-section on February 25th. We'll meet Her at 12:30 p.m. that day should She choose, as I did, to ignore her real due date of February 23rd. We are excited to meet You and get to know you better and see what you look like and have you tell us what your name is.
