Note to reality: It takes a hardy constitution to watch kids paint:
Mine lasted about two sides of the shed-worth.
Also note: Talmage spent a few hours with grandpa in the early construction stage of the shed, helping to fetch tools and nail things here and there. Now that their training is done, they are ready for the big house.

I remember begging Mom to let me help paint the basement of the condo and being stymied as to why she wouldn't let me help- When I was in second grade.
