"Translation: 'Sydney, I heard you were sick .. with boogers coming out your ears - bummer!'"
"I hope you are feeling better now! Love, Your Friend, Sonya. P.S. Hope you enjoy the soup I made."The soup was a bowl of rice cereal flakes. Thanks, Sonya! This made us giggle. It was very thoughtful of you to slave away in the kitchen on Sydney's account, especially when you've been feeling under the weather yourself.
(note: for those who may not know, Sonya is 5 months old. She's on solids. And she can write. And cook! She's a very precocious 5 month old).

So I just have to share my ear infection knowledge. Sage had 5 before she was one, and they had to give her ear tubes because it was going to affect her speach. Anyway, about a month after she got them, she got sick and started BLEEDING from her ears. It was terrible. There's nothing worse for a baby than an ear infection. I hope she sticks with boogers, and no blood. And keep that bum covered in desitin. The diaper rash from the antibiotics are awful. Get well soon baby!
I gag on liquid medications myself. Just saying that made me swallow hard. Cherry, grape, bubblegum...you can't really cover up anything. I can smell the pink Amoxicillin right now from raising 2 kids with regular strep throats and 2 kids with regular ear aches. I'm glad to hear Little Miss Stubborn is starting to improve. 3 cheers for Sonya and her creative mom for being so thoughtful and brightening your day!
just found your blog!!! Love it.
